MEASURE FOR SAVAGE1 TRAINING SHOE

  1. Take a piece of paper and put it up against a wall.

  2. Take one of your bare feet and place it on the paper with your heal touching the wall. You don’t want to jam your foot into the wall, just have it so it is touching.

  3. Take a pen and make a mark on the paper at the further point of your toes.

  4. Grab a ruler or a measuring tape and measure the distance from the edge of the paper to the mark you made.

  5. Refer to the Shoe Sizing Chart to see what size you would wear in the Savage 1 based off the distance you just measured.

First, measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape straight across your back. Round up to the nearest whole number. This is your bust measurement.

Now, subtract your rib cage measurement (step 1) from your bust measurement (step 3). The difference in inches is your suggested cup size. If you’re between sizes, round up.

    A great choice for the gym

    I'm happy with the shoes overall. I did have re-order and to go up a half-size, but that's because my feet are a little wide and I prefer a larger toebox for lifting, which is the primary use for these shoes.

    Fit and finish are good. One of the eyelets was slightly misaligned on the material but it wasn't a big deal. The laces are short for the default install. They needed to be 2" longer. I generally replace all of my laces with Nathans, so it's not a thing for ME, but others need to know this, especially if you use the top-most eyelets.

    I run my shoes hard, and these are holding up where it matters most. My gym has a mix of bare concrete, rubber, and turf, and I have had zero issues with grip. The sole is nice and flat, giving lots of feedback and stability which is critical for the large compound movements. They flex well and I haven't felt any pinching or excessive gapping during movements. I can tell that this is where they invested time and money and that is the basis for my rating.

    And yes, looks matter; these things deliver there as well. They look fantastic and I get stopped by people a good bit, asking who makes them. So I expect a Poinsettia from BP this Christmas for all of the advertising I have given them, lol.

    In short, what you get for the price is well in line, and I recommend them.

    Love them!

    This is my third pair of BP shoes. I'm on my feet all day as a Performance Coach and was having plantar fascia issues with the brand of shoes I was wearing before. Since switching to Born Primitive my feet have felt great!

    Cool shoes

    I love these shorts, the fit is perfect and so far the quality is as expected. The shirt fits great and feels very comfortable. Of all my Born Primitive gear the shirts are my favorite. I have not worn the shoes yet. I love the style and I tried them for a fit test but haven’t had the opportunity to wear them yet.
