MEASURE FOR SAVAGE1 TRAINING SHOE

  1. Take a piece of paper and put it up against a wall.

  2. Take one of your bare feet and place it on the paper with your heal touching the wall. You don’t want to jam your foot into the wall, just have it so it is touching.

  3. Take a pen and make a mark on the paper at the further point of your toes.

  4. Grab a ruler or a measuring tape and measure the distance from the edge of the paper to the mark you made.

  5. Refer to the Shoe Sizing Chart to see what size you would wear in the Savage 1 based off the distance you just measured.

Measure around your rib cage just under your bust. Round down to the closest inch. This is your rib cage measurement, which you’ll need to figure out your band and cup size.

FIGURE OUT YOUR CUP SIZE - THIS IS A 2-STEP PROCESS:

First, measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape straight across your back. Round up to the nearest whole number. This is your bust measurement.

Now, subtract your rib cage measurement (step 1) from your bust measurement (step 3). The difference in inches is your suggested cup size. If you’re between sizes, round up.

    Just ordered a second pair

    After a month of wear, I like the Women's Savage 1 trainers in cool grey so much that I just ordered a second pair in green camo. I typically wear a U.S. womens size 9 shoe, and the size 9s I ordered are true to size. They have a toe box wide enough to accommodate moderately enlarged big toe joints, and without tightness, rubbing, or excessive friction. I can also comfortably wear toe spacers, including the style that spans all five toes, inside these shoes. Yay for more room for healthier toe splay! Laces stay tied with no need for double knotting, and the high-on-the-ankle lacing option helps keep the heel in place with no sliding around inside the shoe. My stability runners that have about twice-as-high the drop have been doing double duty as gym/weight training shoes, and I almost can't believe how much more comfortable the 4mm drop is for my non-running gym workouts. These might even work for running if you don't require a stability shoe or extra cushioning for low arches and over-pronation. The Savage 1 is also an incredibly modern and good looking shoe. I'm especially excited about the green camo, which I'll definitely wear to the gym, although I probably won't be able to resist wearing them more casually, because they are so cool!

    Great shoes!

    I wore these shoes at the gym for the 2nd time. CrossFit. So I was lifting weights, jumping, and rowing. The shoes were great! The wide toe box is key!
